Spring steel (14 260) and tool steel (19221) are forged together, extend to double length, split a half, pack together and forged again. This steps are repeated 7 times which, in this case, results into 96 layers of randomly twisted patterns. Raw damascus ingot is finely forged into a very tiny stick, that is ready to grind coarsely on surface, followed by lock making and rounding in hot way. Mirror look is achieved by patient hand polishing. In the end phosphoric acid change silver look into wood like gray and black patterns.
